Hope you’re having a good week! I went to Milan last weekend and it was so much fun (though it didn’t seem like I was there for that long at all)! Although it’s almost summer and you probably want to spend as much time as possible outside, I’m sure there will still be those days when you want to lie in bed and binge-watch Netflix (I mean, it is still kinda cold in the UK…). I’ve rounded up some of my fave films from last month for some inspo if you’re as bad as making decisions as me. I’ve also listed some of the films I want to watch this month.
This was surprisingly better than I thought. I love the songs and Piper Perabo is great! Coyote Ugly is the kind of film to watch on a girls’ night in.
First things first, do not watch this with your parents. Seriously, do not. I made the BIG mistake of watching this with my mum, thinking it would just be about a walk. I was wrong. Wild is actually so much more graphic than you’d expect and there are some scenes that’ll make you want to cover your eyes with a cushion or be swallowed by the ground. I know those parts were necessary for the plot, but did they have to be so vivid?! Despite all the inappropriate parts, Wild is a good film and Reese Witherspoon is great.
Such a cute film and I love the plot.
I finally got round to watching Crazy Beautiful (it was in my February Watchlist). This film was a lot better than I thought. I guess it’s kinda like a cross between Romeo & Juliet and Perfect Chemistry.
10 Things I Hate About You
This is one of my top 5 favourite films of all time so I couldn’t resist when I found a copy in my local charity shop. I can’t believe I didn’t have a copy already! I love how determined Cameron (little Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is to get Bianca, and how much of a ‘heinous bitch’ Kat is. The poem she recites to Patrick at the end of the film is probably the best scene.
And onto the films I want to watch this month:
2. Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates
3. She’s All That
4. Gimme Shelter
5. The Princess Bride
6. Country Strong
7. Lily and Kat
Have you seen any good films recently? 🙂
