Bloggers Are Us Event

Hey guys!

In the middle of February, I attended #BloggersAreUs, an event held by the lovely Ashlee from Ashlee Moyo Events. Okay, I know I should’ve posted this weeks ago, but I ended up prioritising other posts, and I have been quite busy recently. Luckily, I had some time spare this week to write up this post.

The event was held in the Looking Glass Cocktail Club in Shoreditch. It was relatively quiet when I arrived, but it was soon packed full of bloggers from London and beyond. I got chatting to Ashlee, who I’d previously met at #BloggersGiveBack in December. I also caught up with Sian and Jess & James from Food & Baker, before meeting some new bloggers, including Abbey and Laura. I then had a look around the stalls; Ashlee has ensured that there were some fantastic brands at the event, for example Ayo’s Cakes and Bakes (no blogger event is complete without cupcakes!) and The Perfume Studio.

I particularly enjoyed trying out different perfumes at The Perfume Studio stall. I was able to mix and match various scents to see which was my favourite. Unsurprisingly, I liked the sweet and floral scents the most. I decided to name my perfume ‘Gentle Serenade’ – it’s short, memorable and contains my name. I’d recommend checking out The Perfume Studio, their products would make a great pressie for Mother’s Day. Why not treat your mum to a ‘design your own fragrance’ kit? It’s only £40 so won’t break the bank.

It was clear Ashlee put a lot of effort into organising #BloggersAreUs, and the goodie bag was no exception. I received plenty of foodie treats, including noodles from NutriPot and some chocolate. I also received a gorgeous bracelet from Symbol Jewellery. Can’t wait to wear it!

Hope you’ve enjoyed this post! Have you attended any blogger events? What do you think of them?

Serena
