Yes, I know, Christmas is only a few days away but I’m sure some of you still have presents to buy. If you find yourself scrambling for any last minute gifts, stores like Debenhams, Amazon, M&S, Hema, TK Maxx, The Body Shop and Boots can be an absolute lifesaver. While The Body Shop and Boots are great for beauty items, the others are ideal for stationery, books and food. I’ve had a browse in these shops (and more), and picked out a selection of affordable gifts that pretty much anyone would like, regardless of their age or taste.
1. Hot chocolate syrups – £8.50
First up we have this set of hot chocolate syrups from Debenhams. When I spotted it in my local store, I just had to buy it! I absolutely LOVE flavoured hot chocolate, and these syrups sound heavenly! This gift would be perfect for your bestie, younger sister/cousin, or teenage daughter. Unfortunately, it only seems to be available in store, but Debenhams has plenty of other hot chocolate gifts for the chocoholic in your life!
2. Creme Brulee Truffles – £6
Who doesn’t love chocolate?! These creme brulee truffles from M&S are divine and would make a great stocking filler or part of a hamper for someone with a sweet tooth.
3. Petit Fours – £3
If you’re looking for foodie stocking fillers, I’d highly recommend Hema. They have a whole range of cute Christmas treats, ranging from marzipan & chocolate petit fours to fudge and biscuits. As Hema was originally from Amsterdam, you can expect to find lots of marzipan, licorice and speculoos related items in its stores.
4. The English Provender Co Chutney – £1.90
The English Provender Co has a range of chutneys to put in a Christmas hamper. Flavours include caramelised red onion, plum & bramley apple, and sweet tomato & chilli, and you can buy them from a number of supermarkets, such as Ocado and Sainsbury’s.
5. Pretty City London – £17.50 – £25
One for any blogger or Instagrammer out there! Pretty City London is a beautiful book written by Siobhan Ferguson, who has 171k followers on her personal account and 358k followers on her community page. In Pretty City London, Siobhan shares all the picturesque places in London, including the obvious locations like Notting Hill & Chelsea, as well as more hidden locations like Chiswick & Hampstead. If you’re bored of shooting in Notting Hill & Chelsea all the time, this is the book for you! Pretty City London can be purchased from Waterstones, WHSmith, Oliver Bonas or Amazon.
6. Hot water bottle & socks – £16.50
A hot water bottle is a necessity at this time of year, and how cute is this hot water bottle & socks set from Debenhams?! Give it to your bestie or sister this Xmas and she’ll be forever grateful!
7. Initial necklace – £15
Orelia London has some truly gorgeous jewellery to offer, and the initial necklaces are just that extra bit special.
8. Twinkle Twinkle notebook – £2
Notebooks are great for any blogger or writer! Hema has so many cute notebooks to choose from!
9. The Body Shop Peppermint Candy Cane Sack – £18
This festive range of body products from The Body Shop is bound to leave you smelling amazing and feeling refreshed after your shower!
10. Mini Skewb Puzzle Keyring – £7.99
This puzzle keyring is the ideal stocking filler for anyone who loves a bit of a challenge!
11. DVDs – varies
DVDs are a safe option for Christmas gifts – as long as you have a rough idea of what the recipient enjoys! You could pick a Christmas classic, like Miracle on 34th Street or The Nightmare Before Christmas, or girly films such as this A Cinderella Story collection, or box sets.
If you need any more ideas, DVDs, gift cards, subscriptions to magazines, photography equipment, perfume, make up, bath bombs, candles, reusable water bottles, tea sets, books and playing cards also make great last minute stocking fillers / Xmas presents.
I hope this post has given you some inspiration as to what to give your loved ones for Christmas! I know I posted this very late, but you can always use it for birthdays or next Christmas!
