Photo Diary #2: Regent’s Park

Photo Diary #2 Regent's Park

Hey guys!

Hope you’ve all had a good week and didn’t find the heatwave too unbearable! Today I’ll finally be sharing my second post in my new Photo Diary series! I was planning to post some more photos weeks ago, but it was only at the beginning of this month that I got round to going to Regent’s Park to take photos! Below you’ll find some of my favourite pics from my walk around Regent’s Park. As with my Golders Hill Photo Diary, pretty much all of the photos I took in Regent’s Park are of birds and flowers – they’re two of my favourite subjects for photos!

Enjoy the photos!

These first photos were taken in Queen Mary’s Garden, which is one of my favourite parts of Regent’s Park. It’s a beautiful garden that is right next to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, and is perfect for sunbathing, having a picnic or admiring the roses – there are over 400 varieties!

Fun fact: Queen Mary’s Garden was where Pongo and Perdita meet for the first time in 101 Dalmatians!

So those are the photos that I took in Regent’s Park! If you’re ever in London and stuck for things to do, or you have a bit of extra time on your hands, I’d highly recommend visiting Regent’s Park. It’s absolutely stunning and there is so much to do and see – from playing tennis to watching a show at the Open Air Theatre to admiring the blossom trees in Spring to renting pedalos.

Regent’s Park is located a few minutes away from Baker Street by foot, and is easily accessible via public transport – you can catch the Jubilee, Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan lines to Baker Street station or Bakerloo line to Regent’s Park station.

Have you ever visited Regent’s Park? What’s your favourite park in London?
