Photo Diary #1: Golders Hill Park

Photo Diary 1 Golders Hill Park

Hey guys!

I thought I’d start a new series on my blog called “Photo Diaries”, where I share photos from any trips I’ve been on. I love taking photos, and I’ve got so many pictures just chilling on my laptop, so what better place to share them than my blog?! Given that we’re in the middle of a pandemic, and I’ll be back at work soon, I’m not sure how often I’ll be able to update this series, but I’m going to aim for at least once a month.

The first photo diary will feature some snaps I’ve taken during one of my walks to Golders Hill Park. This is a park that I’ve been going to for years, and as it’s only a short walk away from my house, I’ve been visiting it quite a lot during lockdown. Unless you live in North West London, you probably won’t be that familiar with Golders Hill Park – but perhaps you’ve seen photoshoots of bloggers in the Pergola? This is a secret garden behind Golders Hill Park that’s great to visit in spring and summer, although unfortunately it’s been closed throughout lockdown. Luckily, Golders Hill is a beautiful park, with so many good photo spots/opportunities: from deer, to geese, to bees, to flowers. I picked the right time to visit Golders Hill Park as I was able to photograph all of these. I was only in the park for a couple of hours, but I managed to take over 300 photos overall, and it was so hard to whittle it down to under 50! Scroll through my images to get a feel of what nature Golders Hill has to offer!

As you can see, Golders Hill Park is really picturesque and it’s hard to believe that it’s in London. If you ever get the chance, be sure to explore it.

What’s your favourite photo in this post? Have you ever been to Golders Hill?

Beautiful photos! Especially the shot of the deer, it’s amazing that you were able to get that. I always find wildlife the most difficult to photograph, they move so quickly, haha! And all the greenery looks so refresh, the best part of summer 🙂

Thanks! Yes, it was hard to get photos of the deer, especially because it was behind a wire fencing!

  2. What a wonderful place! I really miss to see nature, to hear birds sing and to admire so many different shades of flowers. Thank you so much for sharing!

What a gorgeous park! Love all the different flowers and can’t believe you got so close to the deer! So cute!

  8. Wow really beautiful, all of them! I think my favorites are:
    – The close-up of the purple flower with the bee
    – The same purple flower that hasn’t fully bloomed yet and still had the green buds
    – The further out shot of the pine needles.
    Thanks for sharing!
